^7 (A)Like a well ^[a]keeps its waters fresh,
So she ^[b]keeps fresh her evil.
^(B)Violence and devastation are heard in her;
^(C)Sickness and wounds are continually before Me.
^8 (D)Heed discipline, O Jerusalem,
Lest ^(E)My soul become disgusted at you,
Lest I make you a desolation,
A land not inhabited.”

“They will ^(F)thoroughly glean as the vine the ^(G)remnant of Israel;
Pass your hand again like a grape gatherer
Over the branches.”
